4-n- prophyl- 1,2,4- triazoline-3-5- dione was synthesized from n-propylisocyanate and ethylhydrazine carboxylate in several steps. the title compound was isolated as pink crystals in high yield and purity. this compound was fully characterized by ir and h-nmr spectroscopy
